From Tree to Cradle
Trees provide more than material — they are life-givers. This work examines what is lost when they are harvested, interrupting nature’s cycle. It takes decades for a tree to regrow and restore an equivalent amount of oxygen and shade.
This artwork is made from a discarded wooden panel once used to protect a new Vespa during transport.
Removed from its functional role, the material reveals a deeper contrast: the speed of consumption versus the slow cycles of nature. A tree takes decades to grow, to offer oxygen, shade, and life—yet its role is reduced to a moment of protection before becoming waste.
The work invites reflection on value, time, and what is lost when natural resources are treated as disposable.
